Ewald has accepted the same position at Iowa State, per FootballScoop.

There, she will join the staff of new head coach Jimmy Rogers, who came over from Washington State this offseason after Matt Campbell left for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Ewald had been with the Badgers for the past three seasons under head coach Luke Fickell, coming over from Kansas State, where she had been the on-campus recruiting coordinator in 2022. After graduating from North Dakota State in 2021, she started off as an on-campus recruiting intern at Vanderbilt in 2021.

Now, just a couple of years later, she has continued to elevate up the ladder and is now returning to the Big 12. Here’s what FootballScoop’s Scott Roussell said about Ewald’s role at Wisconsin. “Ewald has been a key figure in elevating Wisconsin’s on-campus visit and transfer portal integration efforts since joining the program in May 2023.

Under head coach Luke Fickell, she has overseen the critical behind-the-scenes work that turns official visits into commitments and accelerates the onboarding of portal additions. Her collaboration with academic staff on transcript evaluations, major planning, and seamless transitions has been instrumental, especially as Wisconsin has pursued aggressive transfer hauls to bolster its roster in the portal era. ” “At Wisconsin, Ewald worked closely within a revamped recruiting structure praised in industry breakdowns (including in-depth features on platforms like 247Sports).
