Browns have met with yet another Ohio State Buckeye ahead of NFL Draft

Yahoo Sports

Ohio State's number two TE has met with the Browns. Could Will Kacmarek solve their blocking woes?

Another Ohio State Buckeye has visited with the Cleveland Browns ahead of the 2026 NFL draft. It was already reported that wide receiver Carnell Tate met with Cleveland, but he wasn't the only Buckeye offensive player to have met with the team. Ohio State's backup tight end Will Kacmarek has reportedly also already met with the Browns .

Kacmarek wasn't much of a receiving threat with the Buckeyes , but he is one of the better blocking options at the tight end position in the draft. He has shown flashes of being a decent receiving threat if he got more targets, but that's just an underdeveloped part of his game as of now. The Browns have already added Jack Stoll as a blocking tight end to go with Harold Fannin Jr.

, but Kacmarek has more upside as a pass catcher that Stoll just hasn't shown in his NFL career. The Browns are spending a lot of resources on offensive players for their visits , expect a good amount of their draft capital to be on that side of the ball.
