According to BILD , the 21-year-old has now added to the speculation around his future himself.

Away on international duty with Sweden , Larsson told Sveriges Radio : “I’m curious to try something new. “ He also suggested he knows discussions are already taking place away from public view. “I’m aware of what’s going on behind the scenes.

We will see if there is anything concrete this summer. “ Photo by Alex Grimm/Getty Images The report says clubs in England and Spain have shown interest, with Fabrizio Romano recently reporting attention from both countries. In the past, teams such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City are said to have tracked the midfielder, while Real Madrid have also taken a look.

BILD adds that after a conversation with sporting director Markus Krosche , the plan last summer was for Larsson to stay in Frankfurt for one more season before making the next step to a top club. Whether that happens may depend in part on how his current season is judged. BILD describes Larsson as being in a dip in form, pointing to limited output and a drop in market value from €40m to €32m.

The same report says Eintracht Frankfurt once wanted €50m to €60m, though €40m would now still represent a good deal. Larsson remains under contract until 2029 after joining from Malmo for €9m in 2023. Photo by Christian Kaspar-Bartke/Getty Images There is, however, more to his season than form alone.
