The boys high school basketball season in the Montgomery area is over, and the last of the postseason accolades are rolling in. The Alabama Sports Writers Association recently released it's all-state teams, and its nominees for Mr. and Ms.
Basketball. The winners will be announced at an April 14 lunch banquet in Montgomery. It was successful year for boys high school basketball in the Montgomery area.
Montgomery Academy claimed back-to-back titles in AHSAA Class 3A, while Edgewood Academy claimed a runner-up title in the Class A AISA state championship. Five teams from the Montgomery area made the AHSAA state tournament across four different classifications in the 2025-26 season.
