Ohio State star confirms visit upcoming visit with Commanders

•Yahoo Sports

The draft's top receiver met with the Commanders on Wednesday and will soon be in Ashburn.

The Washington Commanders were heavily represented in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday for the Ohio State Buckeyes ' pro day. Ohio State's annual pro day is always a must-attend event, but it's even more interesting this year with four players expected to go in the top 10 and up to five to land in the first round. The Commanders hold the No.

7 overall pick, and every projected top-10 Buckeye would make sense for them. Arvell Reese would give Dan Quinn someone who may remind him of Micah Parsons. Sonny Styles would be an ideal Bobby Wagner replacement for the next decade, giving the defense some much-needed speed.

Carnell Tate would slide in opposite Terry McLaurin at receiver, and could eventually replace him as Washington's No. 1 wideout. Finally, Caleb Downs would give the Commanders a difference-maker in the secondary, something they sorely lack.

There's a chance that some of these players are available at No. 7. There's also the possibility that they're all gone.
