The Seahawks are still looking for running backs.

They will likely not do so before the draft, as it’s become abundantly clear the 2027 compensatory draft picks are important to the front office.

However, that doesn’t mean the conversations are dead. Four-time 1,000-yard rusher Najee Harris has just finished a visit with the Seahawks. Former #Chargers and #Steelers RB Najee Harris visited the #Seahawks today, per the wire, and the plan is to visit the #Raiders next, source said.

pic. twitter. com/6DuG99yGYr — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 25, 2026 Coming off a torn Achilles in September, Harris was not part of the early wave of free agency.

His injury with the Los Angeles Chargers broke his streak of consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career. Despite playing only five seasons, he’s 28 years old. There have been weird rumors about the San Francisco 49ers being interested in Harris, ranging all the way to “predicted to sign”, but then he visited Seattle on Wednesday, heads to Las Vegas Thursday, and has posted the time-honored Injured Guy Recovery Video on socials.
