Detroit Pistons score: After trailing by 21 late in the second quarter, the Pistons roared back to take a lead midway through the third vs. Atlanta.

The Detroit Pistons stormed back from a 21-point deficit. However, they couldn't pull off the comeback in overtime. The Pistons fell to the Atlanta Hawks at home, 130-129, on Wednesday, March 25, to fall to 52-20.

With 4. 9 seconds left in the extra period and Detroit trailing 130-129, Tobias Harris missed everything on a turnaround jumper. Jalen Duren secured the offensive rebound but rushed his hook as time expired, and it missed short.

Cade Cunningham (left lung pneumothorax) missed his fourth-straight game, and Isaiah Stewart (left calf strain) missed his sixth. The Pistons also were without Marcus Sasser (hip) for the third game in a row. The Pistons fell behind by 21 points late in the first half but used a 30-5 run โ€“ which started with a 3-pointer by Duncan Robinson at the end of the first half โ€“ to take the lead in the third quarter.
