The Pacers didn't help themselves as Luka Doncic ran wild, and LeBron James had highlight plays. But Indiana pulled back into it late.
INDIANAPOLIS โ Luka Doncic scored 43 points, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Pacers ' loss follows a win Monday , but they have lost 17 of their last 18 games and fell to 16-57, the NBA's worst record. The Lakers have won 10 of their last 11 games and improved to 47-26, third in the Western Conference.
LeBron James posted 23 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Lakers. Guard Austin Reaves had 25 points and eight assists and center Jaxson Hayes had 21 points on 9 of 11 shooting and 10 rebounds. Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points as Indiana put eight players in double figures.
Center Jay Huff had 18 points. Point guard T. J.
McConnell had 17 points. Forwards Obi Toppin and Jarace Walker had 15 points each. Point guard Andrew Nembhard had 14 points and a career high 19 assists.
