Allegiant Stadium, the Raiders’ home field, is expected to be the site of Super Bowl LXIII in 2029.

Allegiant Stadium, the Las Vegas Raiders’ home field, is anticipated to be where the Vince Lombardi Trophy is hoisted in 2029. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Las Vegas is the likely site to host Super Bowl LXIII just before the turn of the next decade. “The site for Super Bowl LXIII is now set to be voted on at next week’s NFL owners meetings, and it is now expected to return to Las Vegas.

It’s a ‘matter of formality,’ one source said,” Schefter reported. The Super Bowl was last held at Allegiant Stadium in 2024. A return to Las Vegas in 2029 will make it only the second time that the Super Bowl has ever been held in the Raiders’ home stadium.

The Raiders played in Oakland from 1960-81, as well as in Los Angeles from 1982-94, before moving back to Oakland from 1995-2019. They then settled in Las Vegas beginning in 2020 when Allegiant Stadium was built. This article originally appeared on Raiders Wire: Raiders’ home field expected to be site of Super Bowl LXIII in 2029
