Rangers make pre-Opening Day roster moves
The Texas Rangers have made their roster moves

First of all, the Rangers have purchased the contract of outfielder/DH Andrew McCutchen.
To make room for him on the 40 man roster, the Rangers have designated outfielder Dairon Blanco for assignment. Infielder Cody Freeman has been placed on the 10 day injured list. Pitcher Cody Bradford has been placed on the 15 day injured list.
Veteran NRIs Austin Gomber, Cal Quantrill, Josh Sborz and Tyler Wade are staying with the organization and being assigned to Round Rock.
