The New York Yankees ' second baseman was having a great conversation with the announcers when they entered into a fascinating topic: sign stealing.
They were talking about the legal variety of sign stealing that happens when an offensive player reaches second base. They get a view of how the pitcher is holding the baseball and how the catcher is setting up. Even if they aren't putting down signals with their fingers, there are still things that can be picked up on and relayed anyway.
