Baker Mayfield makes ‘incredible’ observation after playing golf with Jordan Spieth

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, a well-known golf fan, played alongside the three-time major winner in a pro-am last week. It provided a unique crossover between two elite athletes from different sports, and Mayfield has now revealed what stood out most about Spieth’s game.

“The most interesting thing is how they’re able to turn it off and on. The focus they have to be able to block things out is second to none. It’s incredible.
” His comments highlight the mental demands of elite golf, with players required to maintain intense concentration over long periods. It is a trait Mayfield, as an NFL quarterback, can clearly appreciate. Meanwhile, Spieth also shared a message for Mayfield after their round together.
