Former Wisconsin captain Bradie Ewing has rejoined the program as its director of football alumni releation

MADISON โ€“ Bradie Ewing is proof that those ties that bind from college arenโ€™t easily broken. The Richland Center native joined the Wisconsin football program as a walk at fullback in 2008 and by the time he was done had ascended to captainโ€™s status while helping the program win Big Ten titles in 2010 and โ€˜11. Four years later he was back on campus as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Now he has returned for the next chapter. Ewing has rejoined the football program this time as the director of football alumni relations. The role calls for him to coordinate alumni engagements and serve as a liaison between the football program and its alumni.

UW announced the news Wednesday. โ€œBradie is a perfect fit for our alumni relations role,โ€ head coach Luke Fickell in a press release. โ€œHe understands what makes the University of Wisconsin and Badger football special.

He will do an excellent job fostering relationships with our alumni and maintaining the traditions and values that define our program. โ€ Ewing played in 52 games for Wisconsin. During his first two seasons he played primarily special teams.
