Prep Roundup: Hartselle softball gets big win at Gulf Shores
Mar. 25—GULF SHORES — Ryley Cate Wolf and Jessi Chittam had two hits and three RBIs each as Hartselle picked up a 13-0 softball win over G. W.
Long at the Gulf Coast Classic on Tuesday. Addison Chudy pitched all four innings to pick up the win for Hartselle, allowing two hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Katie Norgard homered and drove in two runs for the Tigers, while Amelia Fox added three RBIs.
Hatsumi Peterson had a double and one RBI. — Hartselle 15, Barnevald (Wisc. ) 2: Norgard had two hits, including a triple, and three RBIs as Hartselle picked up a big win on Tuesday.
Bailey Lawrence had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs for the Tigers, while Peterson added a triple and two RBIs. KJ Prater had three hits, scored twice and drove in a run. Emma Clark pitched four innings for the win, allowing two runs on two hits while striking out seven.
