The Coloradoan is proud to present our weekly Athlete of the Week series for this high school year, partnering with Blue Federal Credit Union to honor the best Fort Collins-area high school athletes. With the winter high school season all wrapped up, this will be a special edition of our weekly awards. Here, you can vote on the top Fort Collins-area boys athlete for the entire 2025-26 winter high school sports season.

The following boys athletes are nominated for their performances during winter sports: Adam Aldridge, PSD ice hockey: Aldridge was a Class 5A first-team all-state pick for the second-straight year, helping the Stars reach another state title game. The senior was one of the state's best defenders but still made an offensive impact, scoring seven goals and dishing out 17 assists in PSD's 18-3-1 season.
