The Coloradoan is proud to present our weekly Athlete of the Week series for this high school year, partnering with Blue Federal Credit Union to honor the best Fort Collins-area high school athletes. With the winter high school season all wrapped up, this will be a special edition of our weekly awards. Here, you can vote on the top Fort Collins-area girls athlete for the entire 2025-26 winter high school sports season.

The following girls athletes are nominated for their performances in winter sports: Julianna Darmafall, Liberty Common wrestling: The senior had a milestone season, winning Liberty Common's first-ever wrestling state championship. Darmafall dominated the Class 4A 170 class, only allowing seven points against her in four state matches after also winning the program's first regional title.
