Will Tiger Woods attend the 2026 Masters Champions Dinner?

Yahoo Sports

The Masters Champions Dinner is one of the staples of the tournament and is scheduled for Tuesday. April 7. Will it see a full roster in 2026?

Tiger Woods hasn’t committed to competing in the 2026 Masters Tournament, but after skipping last year’s Champions Dinner, the five-time champ confirmed that he’d be in attendance this go-around, which leads to the question: Will everybody attend? Since the inception of the stag supper in 1952, only three times has every living champion been seated at the rectangular table: 1965, 1967 and 1999. But barring an unforeseen absentee, Rory McIlroy will likely host a full party.

Last year, 32 of 35 chairs for past champs were occupied, as only Tiger, Vijay Singh and Sandy Lyle failed to make the Georgia trek. Singh confirmed earlier this year that he wouldn’t miss a second time, while Lyle’s wife, Jolande, stated in a March 13 email, “At this moment in time, yes, Sandy is planning to attend the Masters. ” Lyle hasn’t attended the Champions Dinner since his final competitive appearance in 2023.

As for the oldest living winners? Gary Player (90), Tommy Aaron (89), Charles Coody (88) and Jack Nicklaus (86) each plan to attend. When asked about the clubhouse stairwell to the second-floor supper table, Coody said, "I’ll take it one step at a time.

And if anybody wants to pass me, they can use the fast lane. ” Over the years, numerous winners have been absent — most notably Jack Burke, Jr. The 1956 champ missed each reunion from 2012 until his 2024 death, and his reason was the hassle of travel.
