Now a two-time Olympic gold medalist, USA hockey captain Hilary Knight is savoring her media tour and marveling at the talents of those she meets, like Connor Storrie.

women’s hockey team to a gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Hilary Knight has been practically everywhere. On top of a never-ending interview schedule, her long list of high-profile appearances has included Saturday Night Live , The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and even the red carpet at the Oscars. “I’m really embracing it,” she said during a one-on-one interview in mid-March.

“Instead of thinking about it like, ‘Oh, another thing I’ve got to do,’ I’m like, ‘This is awesome — I get to do it. ’ Obviously, I don’t want to be injured right now. But it’s filling a positivity energy that’s keeping me sane as I’m away from the team.

But Knight has not suited up for her club team, the Seattle Torrent of the Professional Women’s Hockey League, since before the Olympics. She’s currently rehabbing a knee injury that she suffered early in the Olympic tournament, but hopes to get back on the ice with expansion Torrent before the regular season ends on Apr.
