Bears GM Ryan Poles makes big statement in latest pro day appearance
Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles was the lone GM in attendance at Alabama's pro day.
The Chicago Bears are in the final stages of their pre-draft process, where they've been on the road taking in various pro days ahead of next month's NFL draft. The Bears have some big needs to fill following free agency, including most notably defensive tackle, edge rusher and safety. Luckily, Chicago has four selections in the first 89 picks, including an additional second-round selection after trading wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills.
On Wednesday, Bears general manager Ryan Poles, along with new assistant GM Jeff King, were in attendance at Alabama's pro day. According to Courtney Cronin , Poles was the only GM in attendance at Alabama's pro day, an indication that there are some notable prospects they want to get a look at heading into the final stretch of the pre-draft process. That includes offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor, defensive end LT Overton, linebacker Deontae Lawson, wide receiver Germie Bernard and center Parker Brailsford.
