The former third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft has quickly become one of the league’s top running backs, not only for his game-changing ability as a rusher, but also for what he can do in the passing game.

In three seasons with the Dolphins, Achane has started 36 games, carrying the ball 544 times for 3,057 yards and 22 touchdowns. Add in his 172 receptions for 1277 yards and 13 touchdowns, and you can see why the 24-year-old running back is expected to cash in — especially when his best football is still ahead. Unfortunately for Miami and new General Manager Jon-Eric Sullivan, Achane isn’t the only star running back expected to get paid this offseason.

Yesterday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reminded the world that running backs do, in fact, matter, and his belief after talking with those in league circles is that three of the NFL’s top backs will get paid this offseason — one of them being our sweet prince, Achane.
