The Bucs go offense for a change in this new mock draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city that could be where the Bucs select the next star they add to their roster in hopes of righting the proverbial ship. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft. Thankfully, we now have some added context for players now that the scouting combine has come and gone.

PFF's Jordan Plocher recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team focusing on offense in a new mix. While it is offense, it is a name we have seen time and again in tight end Kenyon Sadiq. The team did sign Cade Otton to a massive deal to return, so does a tight end make the most sense?

Plocher explains the Sadiq pick, writing, "A pass rusher was also a solid consideration here, but Kenyon Sadiq’s athleticism is just too good for the Buccaneers to pass up. At the NFL combine, Sadiq displayed incredible speed (4. 39-second 40-yard dash) and explosive leaping ability (43.

5-inch vertical and 11-foot-1 broad) at 6-foot-3 and 241 pounds. Sadiq uses his speed to beat defenses deep. His five touchdowns on deep passes (targeted 20 or more yards downfield) in 2025 led all tight ends.
