Falcons the top landing spot for record-breaking Georgia WR
The Atlanta Falcons don't have a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, but could spend their top pick on a Georgia WR
The Atlanta Falcons have been named as the best NFL draft landing spot for record-setting Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Zachariah Branch. Atlanta could use a third pass catcher to pair with tight end Kyle Pitts and wide receiver Drake London. Atlanta running back Bijan Robinson may be the Falcons' third-best receiving option.
Branch made waves during his lone season at Georgia. His quickness and ability to separate would be a welcome addition to Atlanta's receiving core, which currently relies heavily on size. Branch would immediately project to be the Falcons' No.
2 receiver ahead of the likes of Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus. The question is will Branch drop all the way to Atlanta? The Falcons traded their 2026 NFL draft pick in a regretful move to draft Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce in the 2025 NFL draft.
Pearce had an impactful rookie season (along with Georgia first-round rookie Jalon Walker ), but off-the-field issues have added a lot of questions to Pearce's NFL future. Atlanta will hope that Branch or another elite prospects falls to them at the No. 48 pick in the draft.
