A football player has deliberately missed a penalty after a refereeing error. During a match between Parma and Hic Sunt Leones, the referee pointed to the spot for handball; however, the goalkeeper had handled the ball, not a defender. Parma player Claudia Morelli, who was up for taking the penalty while the score was still 0-0, decided to miss deliberately.

She passed the ball towards the keeper instead. Her team went on to win 9-1 and secured their promotion.
