Lane Kiffin praises LSU football transfer's transformation for 2026

Yahoo Sports

LSU's Jordan Seaton, a top transfer portal recruit, has transformed his body and impressed coach Lane Kiffin with his work ethic.

LSU football fans were thrilled when former Colorado left tackle Jordan Seaton signed with LSU as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 4 overall player in the transfer portal this offseason, and for good reason.

Seaton has the potential to be a bookend, “set-it-and-forget-it” type of force on Sam Leavitt’s blindside this season, and the way he looked when he showed up to spring practice has only strengthened that notion. Seaton was listed at 6-5 and 330 pounds at Colorado last season, with some of that 330 being bad weight. Now, he’s listed at 307 pounds, and he looked like a completely different player at LSU’s Pro Day on Monday.

“Jordan has done a phenomenal job since he got here. I’ll come up here, it’ll be Sunday at 9 PM, and he’ll be out there doing his own stuff, working out,” Kiffin explained . Seaton was already a top talent last season at Colorado, but with all the benefits likely to come with this physical change, he may find another level in Baton Rouge this season.
