The Edmonton Oilers superstar has joined Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux in hockey history after notching a milestone point on Tuesday night. McDavid is now the third-fastest player in NHL history to reach 1,200 points, according to the NHL . Ironically, in the same game, McDavid notched his 400th career goal.

Amazingly, it took Gretzky just 504 games to reach 1,200 points. It took Lemieux 593 games to reach the round-number mark. McDavid scored a goal during the second period on a breakaway to put the Oilers up 3-2 on Tuesday night to give him 400 for his career.
