There were some stellar performances in track meets last week as Richmond Hill had an impressive showing with the Wildcat boys and girls teams in a meet they hosted ― the Apex Invite. Kendrick Joshua, the University of Georgia bound senior, won the 200 meters and also took home the title in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 36. 67, the fourth best in the nation this year and the top mark across all classifications in Georgia.
Jacoby Pasley of Bradwell Institute continued to excel in a stellar junior campaign as he swept the sprints at the L. C. Smith & Winfred Benson Relays in Albany.
There were also some strong showings on the baseball field last week — including Benedictine sweeping a three-game series with Wayne County.
