What were the Titans' best and worst moves in free agency?
PFF analyst breaks down his favorite and least favorite moves of the offseason for the Tennessee Titans.
The Tennessee Titans have been active in free agency and have reset the organization by aggressively attacking the market on both sides of the ball and on special teams. Now that things have quieted down, itโs easy to look back at some of the moves and pass judgment. That is exactly what Zoltรกn Buday from Pro Football Focus (PFF) did in his review of the favorite and least favorite moves by each team in the opening stanza of free agency.
Tennessee Titans Favorite Move: WR Wan'Dale Robinson The Titans lacked talent at wide receiver during the 2025 season, making it difficult to properly evaluate rookie quarterback Cam Ward. Robinson should help, as the Kentucky product will look to build on his first 1,000-yard season and experience better quarterback play than what he had during this time with the Giants. Least Favorite Move: CB Alontae Taylor Taylor has been among the most inconsistent cornerbacks in the league throughout his career.
Although he forced 19 incompletions over the past two years, he gave up 14 touchdowns and allowed a passer rating above 100 in each season. Considering the Titans made Taylor the 11th-highest-paid cornerback, they are banking on his potential to weed out the frequent negative plays. The Titans broke the bank during this wave of free agency and made a few surprising moves, including the signings of Robinson and Taylor.
In some cases, the Titans may have overpaid to add top talent to an underwhelming roster. Taylor, even with some warts, helped solidify a cornerback room that had zero depth heading into the offseason, with only Marcus Harris returning, and he is coming off an injury. Now, with the addition of Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott, and Joshua Williams, the room is in a much better place.
