Bayern rule out Olise sale amid links to Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid
Bayern rule out Olise sale amid links to Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid Bayern Munich bosses Max Eberl and Jan-Christian Dreesen have moved to shut down speculation over a potential departure for Michael Olise. Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are said to be among the top European clubs reportedly monitoring the Frenchman, but Bayern have no intention of letting their star winger leave. “We’re not even wasting a thought on that,” Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl told Sport Bild.
“He is a Bayern Munich player and has every opportunity here that top players could wish for. We want to shape the future with him. ” Club CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen can't see why Olise would even consider a move away from Munich, given Bayern’s ambitions and performances this season.
“No matter which club tries to turn his head: anyone playing for Bayern Munich knows what they have here,” Dreesen said. “We compete for titles, and that is the most important thing for exceptional players like him. For this type of player, it’s about winning trophies.
There are not many clubs where you can do that, and we are certainly one of them. That’s why I am completely convinced that Michael knows what he has with us. ” Does Michael Olise have a release clause?
Olise joined FC Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 and is under contract until 2029. His deal does not include a release clause, placing Bayern in a strong negotiating position. The German champions are even considering extending his contract further.
