But that’s cold comfort, after San Jose lost 6-3 to the Nashville Predators. In the biggest game of the year — the Preds own the last wild card spot in the West — the Sharks were down 5-1 after the first period. San Jose has now lost five in a row — all the biggest games of the season, in succession — basically playing itself out of the playoff berth that they were in control of on Mar.
