PALM BEACH GARDENS — Tiger Woods made his return to competitive golf for Game 2 of the TGL Finals on Tuesday, March 24 at the SoFi Center. Los Angeles Golf Club defeated Jupiter Links Golf Club 9-2 to clinch the SoFi Cup on the first hole of singles play. It's the first SoFi Cup for Los Angeles Golf Club.
Woods, 50, hit nine total shots in his debut performance of TGL's second season. His first shot of the TGL season was a 25-foot birdie putt to win the hole. He left it short and Jupiter Links settled for par and a tied hole.
Woods' first full shot was an approach on hole No. 2 with a three wood from an estimated 271 yards. He needed at least 260 yards to carry some danger and did just that, landing on the fringe for a short Jupiter Links chip.
