Former Auburn football OL Connor Lew is enjoying the NFL Draft process despite recovering from a torn ACL.

AUBURN — When Auburn football offensive lineman Connor Lew suffered a torn ACL in October 20 of the 2025 season, it was the last time he'd suit up for the Tigers , but not the last time he'd take to the gridiron. "This whole process has been unbelievable," Connor Lew told the media after Auburn 's Pro Day. "It's everything you dream about growing up as a kid, being a big fan of this sport and it's finally here and you're the one actually running these drills, you're the one doing the bench press, you're the one in these meetings talking to these scouts — it's been great overall.

" Because of the injury, Lew didn't take part in any of the testing during Auburn's Pro Day on Tuesday, March 24 at Woltosz Football Performance Center, but detailed that he feels ahead of schedule in terms of his recovery without putting an exact timetable of his return. Lew was one of the six Auburn players invited to the NFL Combine back in February. Lew didn't participate in any running drills at the combine either, but he did impress in the bench press.

Lew turned in 31 reps, the best by any center in the combine. IS COLE BEST KEY TO AUBURN OFFENSE: Could this South Florida transfer be the key to Auburn football's offense? Because of the injury, according to most draft experts, Lew's stock has fallen to the second or third round of the NFL Draft.

Lew has been in conversations with a handful of teams and noted that there are some teams that he can envision himself fitting in both scheme and personnel wise, but didn't name any specific teams. When it comes to draft night, Lew plans to be back home in Georgia with family and friends. Until then, Lew is focused on being where his feet are.
