Keegan Brown hired by Kentucky Basketball, per report

The first of what’s expected to be a busy offseason for Kentucky.

According to KSR’s Jack Pilgrim , Brown will be Kentucky’s associate director of player development. On3’s Joe Tipton previously reported that Brown was expected to join the program in a front-office role. Brown previously served on Mark Pope’s staff for five seasons at BYU as the director of video and analytics strategy.

However, he opted not to follow him to Kentucky. Instead, he’s been the video coordinator of the Milwaukee Bucks’ G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. During his time at BYU, Brown’s job duties were listed as the following by the school : Breaks down all game, practice and recruiting film using SportsCode Manages all third-party relationships that directly affect basketball performance Pilgrim also notes that Brown worked with NIL cap management, the transfer portal, and player development while at BYU.

Brown also had previous experience as: Director of Basketball Operations at The Sports Law Group Scout for NetScout Scout for Hoop Brothers This is the first of what’s expected to be a wave of changes throughout the coaching staff and front office following a 22-14 season.
