Miami Hurricanes edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. will be a top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and reiterated he's not concerned about his short arms.

The Miami Hurricanes took to the field for their Pro Day this week, the final chance for their future NFL players to make an impression before the 2026 NFL Draft. One of those players was edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. , who has become a polarizing prospect since the NFL Combine.

The three-year starter for the Hurricanes was one of the most productive edge rushers in the country in 2025 with 12 sacks on 83 pressures. At the combine, Bain’s arm measurements made waves. At 30⅞ inches, they’re some of the shortest arms in the class and an outlier for a first-round pick.
