SEC squad lands highest-ranked uncommitted transfer player
The Missouri Tigers have made a key addition to their defense, as they've signed the top-ranked remaining transfer portal prospect.
At long last, the top remaining college football player in the transfer portal has found a new home as edge rusher Kamauryn Morgan signed with the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday, per CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. Morgan spent his true freshman campaign with the Baylor Bears during the 2025 season. He didn't see a ton of time, totaling just six tackles.
Despite that, his frame and recruiting ranking, as Morgan was a four-star and the No. 29 edge in the 2025 class, made him an enticing target for pass rush-needy programs. Last week, the 6-foot-5, 251-pounder scheduled a pair of visits to Auburn (March 28) and Mississippi State (April 4).
He didn't make it to either, instead opting to sign with the Tigers where he will be a key piece of their defense during the 2026 season. Missouri has signed Baylor edge rusher transfer Kamauryn Morgan, his agency @AgencyOneSports tells me and @chris_hummer . Morgan, who is repped by @Agentbutler1 , was the top rated available player in the portal and the only uncommitted four-star.
