New Steelers wideout has yet to speak to Aaron Rodgers
New Steelers WR Michael Pittman and Aaron Rodgers have yet to meet.
The Pittsburgh Steelers recently signed former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. Last year for the Colts, Pittman had 784 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He played a huge part in the Colts resurgence on offense last season, and he will play a vital role in helping the Steelers' offense this coming season, but under which quarterback?
Pittman admitted the other day that he has yet to chat with future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has yet to contact his new offensive weapon. "I don't know nothing.
I haven't talked to Aaron," Pittman said during an appearance on FanDuel TV's Up and Adams Show with Kay Adams. "I'm trying to give him space because Aaron's a guy, he likes his space, he likes to get refreshed. I didn't want to just get signed and then blow him up and be like, 'Hey Aaron, what's the deal?
' But just give him time. Him and his wife, they've got to handle some things and then he will decide if he wants to come back or not. Pittman, however, thinks that Rodgers will be the Steelers' quarterback next season.
