A handful of new rule proposals for the 2026 NFL season have been made and will soon be voted on. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL's competition committee has proposed five potential rule changes for the 32 NFL teams to consider. These proposed changes will be discussed and then voted on at the NFL's league meetings , which take place in Phoenix, Arizona, from March 29th through April 1st.
