Seahawks re-sign long snapper Chris Stoll to 2-year extension

Seahawks are keeping their special teams unit in tact

One of the key strengths the Seattle Seahawks had over the rest of the NFL was their elite special teams unit. No one spent more money on special teams than the Seahawks did in 2025, and they got what they paid for. Seattle's special teams were game-changing difference makers, especially in the playoffs - including their Super Bowl LX championship.

A top priority this offseason for Seattle has been keeping this unit in tact, and they've made another move to do so. On Monday, the Seahawks re-signed long snapper Chris Stoll to a two-year deal. Stoll's new contract will be worth up to $2,905,000 dollars with a $500,000 signing bonus.

As the 12th Man is well aware, kicker Jason Myers became the first player in NFL history to break the 200 point threshold by scoring 206 points during the 2025 season - the most by anyone in a single year in league history. Of course, Myers couldn't do it without the help of Stoll. The Seahawks honored their valuable long snapper with a highlight reel, which can be seen below: Yes, we made our long snapper a highlight reel.
