NFL analyst explains which WR is best fit for Rams in 2026 draft

KC Concepcion, not Makai Lemon or Jordyn Tyson, was named the best WR for the Rams in Round 1 of the draft.

Wide receiver has become the most logical position for the Los Angeles Rams to target in Round 1 of the NFL draft this year, having already addressed cornerback and safety. In a class that’s rich with receiver talent, the Rams could also wait a bit longer to take one, rather than grabbing a wideout at No. 13 overall.

In a scenario where the Rams do take a receiver with their top pick, Yahoo Sports’ Matt Harmon shared his take on who would be the best fit. He excluded Carnell Tate from this exercise, expecting him to be gone before No. 13, but there are plenty of other options, including Makai Lemon and Jordyn Tyson.

But Harmon believes a different receiver would be an ideal fit in Los Angeles. He says KC Concepcion should garner some consideration at No. 13, despite experts projecting him to go closer to the end of Round 1.

“For me, it would either be Makai Lemon if you want more of what you already have. But I think they make so much sense as a KC Concepcion team,” Harmon said. “And I’m a big KC fan and they need speed, he brings a lot of speed to the table.
