Jacob Bridgeman and Smylie Kaufman had a lot to say about Spieth at the Valspar Championship.

Jordan Spieth hasn’t won on the PGA Tour since 2022, but remains one of the PGA Tour's most beloved current golfers for good reason. Spieth is never not exciting … in the best of ways and the worst of ways. Most recently, Jacob Bridgeman got a first-hand look at the Jordan Spieth Experience at the Valspar Championship and had a lot to say to Spieth’s friend and golf analyst, Smylie Kaufman.

Recently, the two ended up waiting for a flight to Atlanta together, and the Genesis Invitational winner dove into Spieth’s current play with Kaufman. But when it starts to kind of get a little bit off, it’s almost like a second-guessing, where the wind all of a sudden feels like it’s doing more than what it should affect him. “Sometimes, it’s just a nine iron and trust that the wind’s there. I think sometimes he gets a little bit … I don’t know if it’s in his own head, trying to do too much sometimes, trying to play every shot perfectly and have the perfect conditions, but it seems like something gets in his way a little bit.
