An Eagles assistant’s appearance at Miami’s pro day signals potential draft interest in top Hurricanes talent.

The Philadelphia Eagles are doing their homework. A recent stop in Coral Gables may be evidence of that. With pro days taking center stage, one hosted by the Miami Hurricanes prompted a visit from one of the Birds' top defensive assistants.

Every NFL team is scattering scouts and assistants to gather as much information as possible ahead of the draft. It more so felt like intent.

It seems to reveal more than a swift or sweeping glance. This seems to suggest that Philadelphia is taking a keen interest in Rueben Bain Jr. and Akheem Mesidor.

Philadelphia's need along the edge has been well documented, especially after losing key production this offseason. Jaelan Phillips is gone . Questions surround Nolan Smith.
