NY Giants free agency: Veteran DT Shelby Harris visiting with New York
Harris would likely be another short-term, low-cost move for the Giants.

J . More than two weeks into free agency, the Giants are finally beginning to make moves to reconstruct their defensive line.

He has played in 146 regular-season games, with 89 starts. Harris played in 48 games over the past three seasons in Cleveland, including all 17 in 2025. “He’s a fine veteran minimum, be where you need him to be rotational guy,” said Jared Mueller of SB Nation’s Browns website, Dawgs By Nature .
Harris has played more than 500 snaps in four of the past five seasons, so he has been more than a bit player. Harris has been moving toward a television career, and has been doing some impressive work with ‘Good Morning Football. ’ It appears, though, that he isn’t quite ready to simply talk about football.
