Mohamed Salah has announced that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. The Egyptian, 33, is the third-highest scorer In Liverpool’s history and won two Premier Leagues, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Club World Cup in his nine years at Anfield. Salah later apologised, and will now be set for an emotional farewell ahead of the final weeks of the season.

I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. “I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined how deeply this club, this city, this people, would become part of my life. Liverpool is not just a football club, it’s a passion, it’s a history, it’s a spirit.
