I’d personally like to thank the Borussia Dortmund front office for making sure there’s plenty to talk about.
They have been very busy, and it’s only Tuesday. Maybe they can also queue up some more drama for Thursday, to make my life easier? BVB News Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement with Nico Schlotterbeck to extend his contract until 2031.
Felix Nmecha picked up a knock in Dortmund’s comeback win against Hamburg. It has now been confirmed that he suffered a lateral collateral ligament injury and will be out for a few weeks. As the dust settles on Sebastian Kehl’s departure and Nils-Ole Book’s appointment as BVB’s new Sporting Director, there is still plenty we don’t know.
However, there has been some reports that help explain why Kehl is out . I’m pretty excited about Book, but if you are unfamiliar with his game, Rune Gjerulff at Bulinews. com wrote a good profile on the man charged with building a squad that can compete for the Bundesliga title.
Bundesliga News Bayer Leverkusen are eyeing up Brighton & Hove Albion’s manager Fabian Hürzeler as a potential replacement for Kasper Hjulmand, who may leave in the summer. Newcastle and Chelsea are interested in Werder Bremen’s young center-back Karim Coulibaly . Not quite Bundesliga news, but Edin Terzic is the favorite to replace Ernesto Valverde as Athletic Bilbao manager this summer.
