Now, they're losing at least one former top-100 recruit to the transfer portal. On3 Sports reported Tuesday that Sir Mohammed is looking for a new school after coming to Notre Dame as the No. 83 recruit in the country from Myers Park, North Carolina.
The transfer portal doesn't officially open until April 7, and it'll remain open through April 21. Mohammed was in the Class of 2024 and meant to be a bigger contributor for Notre Dame than he turned into. A big guard at 6-foot-6, he averaged 5.
7 points, 2. 6 rebounds and 1. 5 assists per game in the 2025-26 season.
