The New England Patriots released Stefon Diggs, and it could make sense for the star receiver to return to the Buffalo Bills. When Diggs left the Bills, much was made of his relationship with the organization and quarterback Josh Allen. However, during Super Bowl media day, Diggs spoke highly of the Bills.
He even cleared the air on the viral picture of him side-eyeing Allen when he was on the Texans. “They had that picture, right? Of me side-eyeing him,” Diggs said.
“They just caught it at the wrong time and I’ve always wanted to speak on that photo because I was staring at him in the moment because it was like, ‘Damn, that was my brother. ’ We won in Houston, but that’s my brother. ” Now, the Bills need help in the wide receiver room and have a new, offensive-minded head coach who could use a player like Diggs.
The Bills added D. J. Moore and are still hoping for a breakout from Keon Coleman, but adding Diggs could give Josh Allen a receiver he is familiar with, coming off a 1,000-yard campaign.
