A familiar name gets attached to the Bucs in new 2026 NFL Mock Draft

Yahoo Sports

The Bucs get mocked a familar name ahead of next month's NFL Draft.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh next April, a city that could be where the Bucs select the next star they add to their roster in hopes of righting the proverbial ship. Before next April, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup for the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft. Thankfully, we now have some added context for players now that the scouting combine has come and gone.

CBS Sports' Pete Prisco recently released the latest 2026 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team focusing on defense once again. He has the Bucs getting edge rusher help courtesy of Auburn's Keldric Faulk. It is a pick we see a lot, but his skillset would be one the team could use in 2026 and beyond.

Prisco explains the Faulk pick, writing, "They need more help for their pass rush. Faulk seems to fit the type of player general manager Jason Licht likes to draft. His best football is in front of him.

" Faulk wouldn't be the most flashy of edge rushers in the draft, but he could be the safest. For a general manager like Jason Licht, who has had some swings and misses, Faulk may make the most sense. This article originally appeared on Bucs Wire: NFL Mock Draft: Bucs get attached to a familiar name
