Golden Boy Promotions inks multi-year DAZN broadcast extension after months of uncertainty
The announcement, which does not specify the length of the deal, comes after months of uncertainty regarding the promoter's future with DAZN.
Golden Boy Promotions confirmed a new multi-year extension to its broadcast partnership with DAZN on Tuesday, keeping the network as the exclusive home for all Golden Boy-promoted events. The announcement, which does not specify how long the deal is for or how many fight nights are included per year, comes after months of uncertainty regarding the promoter's future with the broadcaster. Golden Boy's previous deal with DAZN expired on Dec.
31, 2025, and when Golden Boy could not deliver the highly-anticipated Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs. Jaron "Boots" Ennis fight to DAZN because it could not agree to a deal with Ortiz, talks between Golden Boy and DAZN for a renewal stalled.
The promoter and network did agree to two one-off events โ Raul Curiel vs. Jordan Panthen on Jan. 16 and Arnold Barboza Jr.
vs. Kenneth Sims Jr. on March 14 โ meaning that every Golden Boy event since 2018 has still been on DAZN.
