WWE 'Raw': Roman Reigns puts CM Punk through a table

March 24 (UPI) -- The rivalry between Roman Reigns and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk hit a boiling point on WWE Raw as Reigns went on the offensive. Reigns was joined by his cousins, World Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, inside the ring Monday as the Tribal Chief got into another war of words with Punk. Reigns respectfully asked the Usos to exit the ring so that he could deal with Punk personally.

The family is still upset over Punk previously stating that he was going to bury Reigns next to his deceased Hall of Fame father, Sika. Punk joked that the Usos should stay as Reigns needs help, causing Jey Uso to charge directly at the outspoken champion. Punk landed a punch on Jey Uso until he got tangled up with Jimmy Uso.

Reigns took advantage of the situation and then nailed Punk with a Superman Punch. The Usos starting to leave the arena as security arrived with Jey Uso yelling at Reigns to continue the attack. The Tribal Chief unleashed a vicious Spear on Punk before taking the champion outside the ring as Raw general manager Adam Pearce pleaded for restraint.

Reigns ended his brutal assault by sending Punk through the announcer's table with a thunderous Powerbomb. Punk, as he started to recover, was seen laughing. Punk and Reigns collide for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, which takes place over two nights on April 18 and April 19.
