Copa Sul-Sudeste kicks off this Tuesday (24) The first edition of the South-Southeast Cup begins this Tuesday (24). Created by the CBF to be played starting this season, the competition will feature 12 clubs, with teams from Brazil’s South and Southeast regions. The champion secures a spot in the third round of the 2027 Copa do Brasil.
The tournament will have three stages: in the first, the 12 teams were divided into two groups. At this stage, clubs from Group A face teams from Group B, and each participant will play three home matches and three away matches. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.
The semifinal and the final will be decided over two legs. The opening matches of the competition will take place this Tuesday (24). At 7 p.
