ESPN ranks Georgia football's returning production
The Georgia Bulldogs will have a plethora of starters from the 2025 campaign returning to Athens next season.
ESPN has ranked the returning production for all 138 FBS teams prior to the start of the 2026 campaign. The Georgia Bulldogs are listed at No. 8 in the nation, as the Dawgs are expected to have a plethora of returning talent next season.
Georgia has the third-most returning production in the SEC behind South Carolina and Texas. Georgia will retain 68% of its total production from the 2025 season next year. 63% of the Dawgsโ returning production will come from the offensive side of the football, while 72% will come from defense.
Georgiaโs returning production on offense ranks No. 32 in the nation according to ESPN, as the Dawgsโ defensive returning production ranks an impressive No. 5 in the country.
Georgia will have a number of key veteran players returning to the program in 2026 including starting quarterback Gunner Stockton. ESPN has named the Bulldogs as one of the most likely teams to improve in 2026 as well, as Georgia will have an excellent mix of veteran and young playmakers up and down the roster. The SEC as a whole is ranked as the second conference in the country in returning production with 58.
